I like trigger shoes. They don't reduce the pull weight of the trigger, but they do spread the force over more nerves in your finger, so your brain perceives the pull to be lighter.

This is my particular take on a common theme - a trigger shoe made from PVC pipe. This example is a Crosman 66, but it should work on almost any plastic trigger - on a 760, 2100, or even perhaps the new Gamo design:

There's not a lot you can do with this trigger design, except maybe de-burring the sear. Trigger pull can be reduced a little by bending the spring ever so slightly:

Please accept my deepest apologies for your distress. The only feeble excuse is that my vocabulary is the product of an earlier age, when "synthetic polymers" were made from dinosaur milk.

"Composite material" is another good way to avoid saying plastic.

Or you could say:

A long or larger molecule consisting of a chain or network of many repeating units, formed by chemically bonding together many identical or similar small molecules called monomers. Trigger. Mr. Green

Hello all this is first post. I joined this forum for resourceful options like this. Very smart idea here, quick, cheap, good as spending $29.00 except it cost 29 cents. I love building and fabricating to make a product better. I bought the Beeman Kodiak X2 and love the rifle!!! After a few hundred rounds I noticed my finger did not stay centered or preferably closer to bottom of trigger for smooth pull. Will report back. Rolling Eyes
