My Ruger has the same break that most of the RWS models have. i dont see any screw to remove it. i use a scope and the tip of the open site comes into the scopes view a little. i dont need it...or do i for performance reasons? |

you have the airhawk right? a fellow forum member shared this idea with me about removing muzzle tips. if there's no screw to take it off it is most likely a pressure applied piece, meaning you can hold the tip in boiling water for about 5-10 minutes, and then either wrench it off with a pliers, or take a wooden dowel and tap it off with a hammer. you might want to get yourself a muzzle brake though cause your crown will be exposed and if you bang that into anything your accuracy will go out the door.
it will probably look like this once you pull it off:

How about getting a snazzy muzzlebreak or something? |

that's a good site to start on if you're looking for a brake unless anyone here makes them, you could ask around |

do you happen to sell any brakes you make, Pete? cause since you have the same gun you'd be able to do something really fitting, and it almost sounds like the guy who makes the brake i posted is a bit reluctant cause i don't need an air stripper on a springer |
