When I ordered my custom 2300, I ordered it with the standard plastic grips. Honestly, and don't ask me why, I use to collect Soviet made 9x18 makarov pistols. Now the stock grips on these were horrible! So I ordered some Pierce rubberized grips. Those were great, very comfortable on the hand while at the range. Does anyone make something simlar for the 22xx pistols?

Thanks

Jax

Don't know about rubberized, but a few people are making wood grips for the 22xx's...

How about getting a can of that rubber parts dipping stuff and putting the cheapy stock plastic grips in it so they have a rubber finish on the outer side?

if memory serves right, i think my local hobby/craft store sells a rubber/silicon casting kit. why not make a set wood grips with recesses for rubber inserts, and cast your own rubber pieces? you could make the texture/design of almost anything. or... you could even cut apart an old basketball and use the textured rubber from that to cut your inserts.... just get creative.
