I want to get the barrel on my Umarex Octane cut down about four inches, then add the suppressor back on. Would that be very difficult? What would something like that cost? If anyone has the time to do it shoot me a pm.

Thank you,

Brad

Depends on the configuration of the suppressor setup- if the barrel is vented, you would need a machinist to re-do the vents after shortening it.

That being said, most springers with suppressors do not have vented barrels- the have the basic suppressor housing with some baffles between the muzzle of the actual barrel and the end of the suppressor housing.

If you take off the suppressor to verify the barrel isn't vented, all you would need to do then if not vented is cut the barrel and re-crown, then reinstall the suppressor.

I see. I'll look into that and see.

Thank you,

Brad
