Well since I moved from NY and fairly close quarters Ive gotten big into the powder burners. I picked up some centerfires and a nice 22 which I had in mind for plinking and hunting. I finally came around to thinking I might want to get it suppressed (which is legal) and the cost blew me away.

Anyhow on to to my point, I realized that I had the solution to the problem at hand already with the Mrod with the only downside being that dragging the pump out to the desert for refills is just not optimal as it was in NY.

So the last few days Ive been doing some web research and find a few options.

The max outlet pressure is only 2000 psi which is not a enough for the .25 cal Mrod

There is this option, but a bit more costly

There appears to be options along these lines, but I can not find any info on how it can be modified to allow output to 3000psi

Lastly, there are options like this and I think the 6 cu ft one would give me if the math is correct something like 600 fills?

Id love to have the best of both worlds where I could at least get 6 or so fills off a bottle while hanging out over a ground squirrel or marmot field and portability. So Im curious what other have done in this situation?

Realistically, for a small tank to pack with you to fill a 3000 psi rifle, you want/need a 4500 psi tank.... It doesn't have to have a regulator if you are careful, but a reg. set to your fill pressure makes it easier....

How about this one?

Its a paintball hpa tank... small, light and holds a lot. Would this work with an adapter valve?

Anyway, my pump has broken for the disco... looking to go with a tank myself.

Looks good overall, mentions being able to adjust the output but doesn't say to what or how much.

That Ninja tank is very likely regulated at 850 psi output.... those are the ones adjustable with shims from the factory.... but only DOWN to about 550 psi.... not up....

I forgot about the Mrod forum. I was just browsing over there and it looks like Shawn worked with this guy http://www.airtanksforsale.com/ . The prices actually arent all that bad considering.
