I enjoy taking apart my guns just as much as shooting them. Im sure everyone has come across that situation when you can't find a bit/socket to fit a particular nut/screw. Using the wrong bit can damage the screw and ruin a job.
I recently ran into this problem while disassembling my M417 for painting. Out of all my tool sets I just didn't have the right bit for the screws. This really pi$$ed me off! I find this problem a lot when dealing with guns made overseas.
I recently received my Xmas flyer from Grizzly Tools. Running through the ads I found they had Smith & Wesson gunsmiths tools on clearance. They had bit and socket sets that came with fraction as well as metric sizes.
I ordered the bits and sockets and received them today. First thing was to see if they would cover the screws and sockets on my guns. Voila! No more digging through tool sets and loose bits to find the right size. Not only that but they come in a holder that will pop up the bit or socket you need. I have eliminated at least two sets of tools with the purchase of these sets. Lot less aggravation...Happy Days!!!
