Yes I replaced the dovetail rail with the weaver rail to accommodate a scope mount that would allow me to move the scope closer to my eyes, the problem with the fore stock is it moves around a little.

never heard of 25mm scope rings. 1" is 25.4mm maybe a thin piece of tape is all you need to make the switch

I acquired a .177 barrel for my B50 which to my dismay I found to be quite inaccurate.

If you can afford it get the mk4, vendor support and knowledge that you've got the latest technology. I'd get the mk3 its good enough and those Hills are totally rebuild-able from what I hear
