I just read a good kindle book about airgun shooting, so I figured I'd pass it on to you.
It's kind of a rehash of the old "quick kill" method the army used only it's geared toward pistols. It's called "teach yourself point shooting with a BB pistol". It's a short book, but it's cheap (one dollar). It goes over some interesting history from Fairbairn's WWII stuff to Lucky McDaniels and the Army Quick kill and so on. The actual 'method' is pretty straight forward. I've got McDaniels' book and the Quick kill manual so it wasn't exactly earth shattering for me, but it wasn't bad. I read it and spent a little while doing the stuff it suggested. It's a pretty fair intro. It's also not written like a "tactical training" manual. More conversational. I'm a little fed up with everything shooting related being either "tactical" or "doomsday", and this was neither of those.
Anyway, I liked it and there is only one review, so I figured I'd help the guy out by posting here. I figure a "BB pistol" book might be interest on an airgun forum. |
