I posted this question on another Forum, and was not successful in finding my answer, hoping someone here can help.
I have a BSF Junior air rifle in .177 that I received from my Father as a birthday gift 50 years ago, while living in Germany. As you can expect, it is in need of a new seal, and possibly a mainspring change. Can anyone provide info on who might have the parts, or who can do the work?
I live in the US, but don't think ordering the parts from another Country would be a big problem, if I can find them.

Thank you

I'm not sure what model number the "junior" is, but this might help:

Another route is to make a spring compressor and take the thing apart. Then get some observations and measurements of the piston seal and spring, and go here:

It's possible that a gun of that age might even have a leather seal that can be rejuvinated.

Thanks for the help, and the replies. jg advised he would not be able to help.
Slavia- Yes, as far as I can tell from research, it does have a leather seal. Can that be brought back to life with some RWS Air Chamber Lube, or could I try another chamber lube of some type? I would be hesitant to try to take it apart myself, and haven't been too lucky finding anyone who would work on it.

Even non-detergent motor oil will work. It's hard to say what it's like without seeing it. It could still be oil-soaked and pliable, or it could be all dry and crumbly. If it does indeed have a leather seal then it needs oil as a matter of regular maintenance. What you may have read about high-powered springers dieseling and detonating combustible lubricants won't apply to a lower powered gun with a leather seal. (It may smoke a bit, though.)

Thanks Slavia, I have some of the RWS chamber I use on my RWS M34. Would you recommend the ND motor oil over that?
