Hello all

Does anyone have any info. on modding of a B4-2? I know that the one I have has a shortened spring to "detune" it for Canada. Does anyone know of a custom spring? What is the original length of the standard spring?

Thanks

I don't know what the original- i.e. not "detuned" spring size is, but Gunrunner has some knowledge of this gun.

Look at these posts to find a bit of info on spring vendors/pricing:

Yup, have built a few of them .. in both cal. for the price of the gun I think there great .. all wood and metal and most are very accurate. I got them to go as hi as 860 fps in 177 cal. , sold that one to Weaselpopper and 630 fps in 22 cal. I have 2 of them right now that I'm working on, first off you need the original spring, that works good, I remove the bear trap and cut back the trigger housing, change the seal to get more sweep area, the compression chambers are real nice in the one's I bought so you don't need to touch that.
Rework the trigger, secure the scope rail down. You can get the springs from Best Air there Xisico internet store .. and they take Paypal, I found them to be the cheapest. I also put in my own custom seals ..
Send me an e-mail.
