Well I decided to call beeman about my rear sight that wouldn't stay set, because of the little click button had no pressure against it. They told me they will send me a new rear sight, well I got rid of the gun and no longer have it. They still are sending me the sight so i can give it to my friend who bought it. He doesn't want it as he uses a scope and even removed the front sight, so i decided to get another beeman. It will be a 22 at 850fps lead or 950 alloy, and i'll have an extra sight, but i'll probably scope it tho so to be more accurate when hunting. Now to build a spring compresser, I know I don't need one right now but I thought I would start so when and if I ever do. Maybe this tinkering with airguns will be more fun than I thought as I love working with my hands. any pctures from ya'll of the spring compressers ya'll have buit? thank you oddtodd for setting me straight on the right airgun, over 30yrs without one, i have alot to learn, and thanks to everyone else for ya'lls help. I look forward to diving into airgun shooting.

Don't use alloy. They will ruin your seals. It's too light and it doesn't cause enough back-pressure.

thanks, i'm gonna start with crosman premier hollow points. they shot good in the other gun, so i'll try them first. i never thought much about alloy, but the guy at beeman said i can get 100-200fps more with them. but from what i have seen in these forums they are hard on the guns and aren't as accurate. i will only use lead, thanks again.
