Seems the pump arm handle pins are driven into the pump arm from one side- with no hole out the other side to drive them through- what have people done to remove such pin in the past? Drilled holes through the pump arm handle on the other side? Used a very small pair of needle-nose pliers to grab and work the pin out the one side?
I just don't want to putz around with this instead of doing something already proven to work (preferably not drill the other side of the handle). |

YUP, you drill through the hollow roll pin with a 1/16" drill and then turn around and use a 1/8" drill from the (orignallly) closed side of the stock until you hit the roll pin, and then use a 1/8" pin punch and drive it out towards the side that had the holes oiriginally.... I've never heard of another method....

Dang- I was hoping not to have to do that, and funny enough, this is the first time I've had to remove a pump handle on one of these rifles, despite having worked on a few... |
