Semiretired from manufacturing, now driving a school bus.

Just bought a gunpowder gun and got back into shooting, yup the typical O-reason these days; so I dusted off my father-in-law's old pellet gun too. Hence the interest in air guns.

Wow, they really built them back in the fifties; real hunting guns not just toys.

Glad I found this forum, most of my useful information on guns and shooting has come from forums like this.

This is a really good forum dave. I've been around for a little while if you can't tell by my post count. lol You can get some really good hunting arms today too, but they can get expensive real quick. I have some nice hunting rifles and they didnn't set me back more than $200 each though, the most expensive one being my crosman 2400 custom. I think I spent right around 200 for that one, but it is a perfect starling gun though. I spent more for the custom pistol. lol Cocobolo grips were a must though. It is a good short range bird gun though. I've got a scope on it and for 10 yards or less it is leathal in .22. I used it in my ex-father in laws barns for pigeons and starlings.

Anyway, if you have a question, just ask. Between airguneric, slavia and rsterne you will get a good answer. If it is a crosman question I just might have the answer for you. lol

Welcome to the forum! The hoarding and buying in bulk for quick resale (that has emptied most ammunition stores) hasn't hit pellets. Airguns were always cheap, quiet, low recoil, and good both indoors and out. Now it's about the only way to keep in practice. Welcome to the forum - jump right in.
