Have a few air rifles and powder burners that have scopes with adjustable parralax. It seems like when you make a parallex adjustment it throws the point of impact off to one side or the other on some of them when you make an adjustment.
Is it because of the quality of the scope? The worst one I have is a tasco mounted on a my TC .270. I also have a couple bushnells on some springer .177's that I shoot inside that seem to be the same way.
My bushnell Trophy on my kodiak though seems to be OK.
Anyone else run into this? |

No I haven't yet. I use the adjustment for a crude rangefinder, but haven't seen any difference. Since it just changes focus, it really shouldn't unless there is some give in the mount that torques the scope off target from the twisting force. I dunno. |

It does on the Bugbuster I have but not on the 4200 Elite when the parallax
is adjusted.
The Elites POI does not change throughout the 6-24 magnification
range, but the Trophy I have does. |

I didn't realize it was a common problem until now. I guess I have been lucky on my scopes, because most of them are low to medium priced basic units. |
