Some interesting stuff here on hunting section in UK airguns are popular for hunting pests such as rats, mink, rabbits , wood pigeons ,crows, magpies grey squirrels , and a few others. We have some thing called a General Licence to shoot here you can shoot any pest species but only If its causing damage and other methods of control have been considered or tried.
Iuse my gun for hunting rabbits . Ive got four small shoots where rabbits cause the landowners problems and shot 116 rabbits last year!. All got recycled into rabbit pies!!
We use rifles generally at 10-12 ftlb power (12 Ftlb is legal limit with out a firearms licence). Theres some great shooting over here , Heres my latest rabbit (pie) . Shot with a BSA Ulta .22 precharged airgun at about 25 meters (my max hunting range) The rabbits here live underground and have to be stalked or shot from a hide when they come out
