| I'm looking for a seal kit for this gun. After a search last night the only thing I found was one kit from Pyramid. Is there any other folks out there that offer a seal kit for this? This gun brought back a wealth of memories when I found it in my old closet at my mom's yesterday. I want to restore it back to full functionality. This thing was devastating. All of the other kids had the usual Crosman 760's but knew when I whipped this thing out......something was gonna get tore up (no I wasn't a vandal).....lol. I never misused it in my young days. But if you guys know someone or a link to a website for the kits any help would be appreciated greatly. I already have the stock sanded down to reseal it so now it's time for the mechanics! |

| slavia I appreciate the info and any help I can get. Hopefully I will be able to order the kit soon. Then I will be looking more closely to start this project. I'm sure once I get into it more questions will arise. |

Hey there, have you tried checking the online parts catalog over at jgairguns.biz? I haven't checked for Sheridan parts there yet, but they do have a very extensive parts catalog that covers a wide variety of air guns.
Your post caught my eye, because I have a 1979 Sheridan Silver Streak C9 that I bought new, and still have. So far, it has not needed any parts.
Good luck on finding the parts you need. And here is a picture of my trusty old Sheridan:

Wow that brings back memories of when mine looked that good. I used mine so much I wore the finish off of the stock. And I remember trying to disassemble and attempt to remove the valve over 25 years ago and never could succeed. After reading on this forum it was obvious why. I had no idea what a process it is. My seals gave out somewhere in the late 80's so I just stuffed it in the closet. But now I want to bring it back to life. Thanks for sharing the picture! |

I'm glad you enjoyed the picture of my old rifle. Yes, I never shot it that much back in the old days, but now I have been shooting it quite a bit. I think I put about 2 boxes of pellets (about 1000 rounds) through it in the past 30 years. Then I took it out last fall, and started using it again.
I hope you can find the parts you need to repair yours, and get it back up and operational again. I wish I knew how to take it apart so I could help you repair yours. |
