Parts are:
Small short spring
Bow sight pieces
Ball point pen spring
Works like a charm, can adjust trigger pull weight and acts as a travel stop.

That's a nice mod- I've seen similar ones before. How little a trigger pull can you get out of it before the adjuster will basically just rattle around inside the handle?
Yours is very neat- someone could do something similar with a bolt with a flattened head or a piece of threaded rod with a nut on the top- couldn't they? |

I don't think I'll ever have that problem. Looking at my mod, the top knurl piece will adjust your trigger travel while the nut will adjust the trigger pull.
I don't have a trigger scale but my trigger is nice and smooth and light now, the pen spring just rids of any other play there may have been, just taking up the slack basically.
Everything just came together as I was doing it, like a brain storm. |

BTW... I haven't fully tested it to back up my claim to how it works but it should work.
All I know is that it's working just fine and I won't need to mess with the trigger anymore. |

Oh! Attn Woody61...target shooting with the pistol should be interesting.
I may even need to settle things with a one hand hold. |

Hi there Mar, is the knurled piece at the top fastned to the trigger or is it floating, it seems to solve all your trigger problems in one go, I hope it works out well in practice. Smart thinking.

| That piece is threaded so I can lengthen or shorten the travel to my liking. Everything is just a drop in mod. |

Ok folks, Been trying out the new mod and all I can say is WOW...what a difference that made. It is smooth as butter, as light as I want the pull, I really cannot feel any creep, roughness, drag, whatever you want to call it.
Here is an example of how I made mine using similar parts.
Top (right) knurl piece is threaded.
2nd piece is the threaded part cut about 3/16-1/4 inch shorter then bottom of sear to top of pin in handle frame.
3rd is the nut to adjust the weight.
Bottom is the spring that fits over the pin and the threaded shaft. My spring I used came from a broken GPS mount, very light spring, not the one shown here.
When you put it together, the top part is screwed on almost all the way, just leave the rod below surface so it doesn't rub on the sear. Put a dap of lube on every contact point and if you're lucky like me, it was perfect right of the bat.
I also took the time to hone the side of my trigger where the pin and washers are for a super smooth surface and of course I had done previous honing also where needed.
Enjoy!

Tonight I played a bit with the spring adjustment and went as liight as I could before the gun wouldn't lock when cocked. Gave the nut a slight turn to retighten it till it worked, wish I had a scale on hand, have everything as tight/light as I can go.
I wouldn't know what else I could even do to improve it unless...
a small steel ball between the sear and the knurl piece??? |

| The most efficient and longest-lasting way to make it work would be to put some sort of roller bearing on the top of the threaded rod and eliminate the knurled cap- that way things wouldn't wear quickly and the bearing would allow smooth movement. This however, would be way way way too much for a $60.00 airgun I'd say- but if you have the parts and the time, it could be interesting... |

There doesn't appear to be much movement now that I have the travel set to it's minimum, would take a hundred years or more before you would notice anything, me think. I did forget to polish/hone the top of the knurl, but I can pop it out anytime to do that.
If I find a small ball bearing, I'll just lay it on top of the knurl piece as it's threaded all the way through. I think a ball slightly bigger than 1/8 of an inch would work perfect, though 1/8 would probably work.
All this trigger modding stuff gave me an idea for the Slavia 630. |

I just discover that a BB sits perfectly in the crown of the knurl.
I'll try it once I take it out one day though I'll need to re-cut a new rod piece. |

I'm beyond that with this one but I love modding this pistol, so easy to work on.
I may just get another just to start all over again. |
