Just ordered the second "high powered" Air Rifle tonight. Back in the late '80's I had a Beeman C1 Carbine that was a really great little air rifle but I ended up selling it for one reason or another. Anyway, just ordered a Ruger Air Magnum Combo with the 4x32mm scope and a tin of 500 Crossman 14.3gr round nose pellets. Figure I'd start in the middle with pellet weight and see how it'd do. I'd been looking for a good semi auto or bolt action 22lr but with what's going on with all the Anti--Gun stuff and folks getting in a panic over it the prices have gone crazy if you can even find one for sale. Also, 22lr ammo has gotten pretty pricey lately and it's really hard to find too.
Figured I'd just drop back and punt and order a good high power Air Rifle for target shooting and small game hunting. I really love getting 500 pellets for $9 bucks. Anyway, I'll see ya'll around on the forums. |

| Welcome to the forum, TNFrank. I have burners, but I like airguns because they use cheap ammunition, are quiet, and work indoors or out. If you can shoot a spring powered airgun accurately you can shoot just about anything. |
