Normally, we do not allow this sort of thing (someone new shows up and posts it, we have no way of judging if it is a scam or such), but in this case the family involved are personal friends of a long-time member here (who shall remain nameless unless they wish to post up their name).

As the campaign is on the legitimate "Make A Wish Foundation" website and the long-standing member here is familiar with them, I am allowing it. However, please note that any "Mr. X" that comes along in future, unless they are a long-term member, will not be allowed to post such things.

Two children (brother and sister), both with optic nerve cancer. Apparently the young lady's cancer is not stabilized, thus why the "make a wish" situation- she apparently would like a playground with red barn and chickens (plastic I'm assuming) with a goal of $1000.00 to get them.

The creator of that donation page may want to reconsider the title with the apostrophe after "Auti"- it caused html and bulletin board coding errors- a "cut and paste" needs to be done for it to be linked correctly.

Thank you Eric for allowing us to post this plea for Autumn's Make-A-Wish® and her family.

We are asking on many of the forums and social media that we use to help bring awareness to Autumn's wish and the Make-A-Wish® foundation with the following letter.

Good morning Brothers in Air Arms.

Once in awhile something comes along that I feel a personal need to share with the Air Gun community.

This time it's very personal.
One of my oldest and dearest friend's daughter has been chosen by the Make-A-Wish® foundation to receive her wish.

Autumn and her brother Calvin are awesome little angels. My favorite cousin babysits these little ones and we are all very much part of their lives.

The foundation asks that each family that has been chosen to aid in "Wish" fundraising and help bring awareness to the foundation and the good works that it does.

Please help Auti's and the many other children battling cancer wishes come true worldwide.
