Hello, Ive got a hold of an AW.308 airsoft stock thats relative robust abs plastic and divided into stiffening sections that makes it rigid and the solid feel.

I want to adapt either a Mauser .177 or an SA2,both from Cybergun, (Those fits with my tuning-kit:) ) and Dremel the airsoft' outer barrel to a nice fit and composite-cement it together.
Its actually the long weaverrail, along with the stock's ergon. (And an unholy degree of add) that make me put so much time into this.
Nevertheless, Im not sure if the power of cocking would make the rather shitty quality of the airsoft deform, maybe fill it with akrylate mixed with steel filings?

I was thinking of filling the empty compartments inside with an insulating foam for industrial construction, light and stiff.

It looks like both the Mauser and SA2 are breakbarrel designs, so you would have to cut a cocking slot for the barrel to swing. That means you would also lose the bipod mount and weaken the fore end. There are a lot of other factors - like if the compression tube could be made to fit, if the mounting screws wind up in convenient places, etc. You would probably have to fashion some kind of bedded metal blocks for the attachment points. Your idea about construction foam in the hollows is good - I did it on my Crosman G1. Bondo or JB Weld might be better choices for bedding and stiffening, followed by a plastic paint like Krylon Fusion.

Sounds like a lot of work.
