New guy here... Just bought a daisy BB/pellet rifle.. Nothing fancy.. One of those that comes in a bundle packet with shooting glasses and a scope. Installed the scope but it looks very out of focus. Is there a way to fix this or is it just because the scope is that bad? Thank u guys. Welcome! The scope is probably of very low quality. Most low end scopes are famous for not being very clear. What kind of scope is it, what size and is it an AO scope or fixed?   Posted: Tue May 08, 2012 9:21 pm Slavia Moderator Joined: 31 Mar 2008 Posts: 4382 Location: Waseca, Minnesota, USA When you say "BB/Pellet rifle" I imagine of of those fixed 4X 15mm or 20mm scopes. Many come with plastic lenses, so they will never be really clear. Without an adjustable objective lens (AO) it will only be in focus at one range, and will be slightly blurry closer up or farther away. Did it come with open sights? It's the Daisy brand that comes in the package with the rifle.. Can u suggest a decent scope then? U nailed it... It did come with open sights so may go with those until I get a good enough sight. I bought one and it was the worse scope I have ever incountered. The point of focus is nonexistent. Heck even the cheapest Tasco 4x15 will be better. I bought the same package a while back and between the horrible scope and a rifle that would not shoot any kind of consistent group, I took the whole thing back (just a side note- my rifle was really bad- but I have seen a lot of good things posted about said rifle- so I chalked it up to just a bad one). The eye re lelief has to be just right to make the scope usable.
