No I have not fallen of the planet. Idaho has gotten off to a waaay rocky start for us. The short. I'm on my 3rd job. My wife has gone almost 4 months without finding work. Things seem to be looking up for us tho. I've been so busy with work and etc.... since we got here shooting guns went on the farthest burner. Couple all of this with the sudden death of a childhood friend and a death in the family since the move..... dot dot dot. Hopefully in a year (or less) life will be more level. As for the day of my 36th year. It took a stretch for us. I've had to part ways with quite a few burners to pay the bills but I've finally found the job I've been after, working almost exclusively in new residential construction. My wife landed a job for a school district with full benefits and paid vacation ,she starts next week. I went into our local gun shop yesterday and found an AK-47 bullpup on the rack and will be back into tomorrow to trade it for my traditional AK . Because this isn't Ca I'll walk right out the door with it Having done a lot of research here with the real estate market, by next summer we will possibly be in the position to buy a house bigger than this one with a mortgage cheaper than our rent. We've kinda decided not to fine tune this place with unpacking as our lease is now up in 8 months. All everything has to do is "go right". This sure has been one hell of a ride. Josh and I went out south of the Airport the other day. So hot, not even the snakes where out... Joe did a great job on it. Actually I had an early day at work wed and put 160 rounds thru it. The cool thing about where I live is the nearest shooting spot is less than 20 minutes from my house.
