HI Everyone;
I am new to the form but have been plinking and varment control with air rifles for years.
I recently purchased a Benjamin Classic .22cal (B5M22PX) non-PAL so maxed at 495fps.
I have run about 100 rounds through it so far and really dialed in the scope. I find it a nice accurate rifle.
I am considering tuning this to get a little more oooompf out of her and read on this forum and others on the Web that I could replace the main piston spring (Part # B18-00-4D) with one from the Quest 1000 and it would greaty increase the velocity.
I have not been able to confirm if this would really work. I have not found an airgunsmith in my neck of the woods.
Has anyone successfuly performed this tuning?
