It has a MountianAir Modified Muzzle Break,and Power Adjuster,I did the three screw trigger mod,and added a heaver hammer spring.I also added a 2260 barrel spacer and moved the barrel band forward.The power can be turned down to low 600FPS or go as high as 900+FPS depending what pellets I shoot. 60 shots on low,2000psi-1000psi I was amazed that it will shoot 16.5 gr JSB Predator pellets at 837-848FPS on high thats screaming for a heavy pellet.The heavy hammer spring makes a lot of difference.It pretty much keeps a 15 FPS spread average. Crosman wadcutters its within a haf inch at 10 meters(not happy).I'll try some good pellets next week and move out to about 75 feet then see what she can do.,You going to that fun shoot down there next week? Discovery/2260 3 screw trigger mod you see the sear engagement adjuster just ahead of the trigger guard.ALL working faces(6,plus both sides of both levers) stoned flat and smooth and dry moly burnished in.Note where the leg of the sear spring sits relative to the safety hole,too little tension when installed makes for a mushy trigger.Shims shown reduce play.All 3 screws are 1/2" x 6/32. The screw in the front of the trigger adjusts the amount of sear engagement while the left top screw adjusts trigger travel before engaging and the left bottom screw adjusts the amount of follow through once the sear releases. When you use the forward screw for sear engagement,you loose some safety and trigger feel.You must use restraint with both the over travel and sear engagement adjustments,too far with either one will cause problems. I like the adjustability....You have to test for saftey buy hitting the action with a piece of wood covered with a towel or something to make sure it does not fire.With the trigger mod done and returned to the action do your adjustments.By turning the forward screw you can make the rifle fire,when you get to this point back off the screw a couple of turns,cock it again and test it by pulling the trigger.To much trigger turn it in not enough turn it out,when you get where you like it test it by tapping the action to make sure it wont fire! If it goes off back out the forward screw to set the sear deeper .. Trigger is about 10 oz's,has perceptible 1st stage movement,but little (1/16"-1/8" at the trigger tip as best as I can measure) I hope this will help you if you ever want to do a trigger mod on a Disco or a 2260.They share the same trigger group. But if you take advantage of the dual fuel feature and go to bulk fill co2 it will shoot as low as 600 fps with power adjuster on low, Right ? _________________ I cant wait to get some blood back into my alcohol stream ! John Avery John, I am truly sorry I never mentioned what pellets or other things I was doing at the time I was getting those extreme spreads.Thinking back now I should have.( I type so slow I use short cuts) So while I'm watching the NASCAR race I will explain a little further. First I will start with the 900's(902-926) .Along with the power adjuster I did change hammer spring too! I slipped in the heaver spring I acquired at the hardware store along with a spring spacer I made out of a alum. rivet that gave me about 5 mm. of extra tension on the spring and slides in the hammer with maybe 2mm of the rivet shank up in the spring.I also bought ,and opened and beveled a second transfer port .005-.007 of an inch to allow more flow.#1 is the stock Disco transfer port then cranked up adjuster to high. With the combination of heavy hammer spring and more flow the Disco will shoot almost shoot supersonic. Now here comes the other part I failed to mention I was using very light Beeman 12.65gr Silver Bear pellets.But despite the light pellet it still grouped within a 1/2 inch at 50 feet. Now on to the 600's(656-690) FPS,I returned stock hammer spring no shims and the factory transfer port and the MountanAir adjuster.I switched pellets at this time also! I went to my 21.10gr .Beeman .22 Kodiak Extra Heavy.Now you know John how sensitive air rifles are to pellet weight,sh!t you can change speed in a heart beat by switching pellets alone. Thus I attained the 300 FPS spread. I have settled on the heavy spring with spacer and shoot 13.75gr. Beeman H&N Match Wadcutters or 13.36gr. Beeman Silver Ace pellets which my Disco seems to shoot the best. With clover leaf groups at 50 feet.The sweet spot on mine is between 1800psi and 1200psi. 1600-1400 psi producing the most power at 880's with power adjuster not quite full open.Maybe 2 turns from full. I used the 2260 barrel spacer to reduce barrel harmonics and allowed me to move the barrel band forward just short of 7 inches. Sorry I had you confused Time for another beer!
