Beautiful day today. I had a couple of hours to kill so I headed to the backyard with the M4-177. I wanted to see how far I could shoot the rifle with only seven pumps and still maintain some accuracy.
Set my target at 100 feet and let her rip. I wasn't getting a good sight picture with the aperture sight so I used the UTG dot sight set to green (sunny day). After five rounds I ended up with a 3" X 1.5" group shooting center of mass. My next test I'll go back another 20 feet and see what happens. I've yet to pump the rifle to the max (10 pumps).

How were you shooting from a bench, kneeling or standing? if it's the latter then not bad group's.

That is so true. Its a good reminder to watch one's backstop. Looking at chairgun or something its easy to see that the velocity loss is a parabola, more velocity loss at first, and the rate tapers off. They really hold their power longer than one might think.

cheers,
Rob
