d no more chinese guns here . im thinking about saving a few $$$ and getting another diana 54 in .22 . crosman used to have great guns but after a crosman quest that was returned twice for another and each had troubles . then a benjamin titan gp twice on returns . both had to have a grt trigger ,and even though i could get a scope centered up, they would never do 3 shots in a row on the bullseye. at least so far all my german guns work fine from the start, just clean the barrel and shoot . ive never fooled with the triggers on any of them . i know there are some problems with anything man made and some day i will get a german gun that has trouble. but so far so good .i did have to put a new spring in my diana 5g tm pistol. so i have had troubles with 1 german. while i was inside i deburred and it had 1 rough place where it slides the piston lock. it was what broke the spring . i also put in a new seal , the old 1 looked ok but while inside it was logical to do that . now it shoots in the 400-450 ft per second range like it always did

Maybe if they were charging what they were worth it would be easier to accept those quality issues. When I went shopping for my first air rifle purchase I was looking at cheap Chinese. I had read all the bad news beforehand and I settled on a QB57. I new it was a gamble and that it would probably need work but for $112 bucks I thought what the hey. Now 3000 pellets into it and 30 bucks for parts and accessories I couldn't be happier, it was in better condition than I expected out of the box. I recrowned the barrel polished and lubed what they say to, replaced the spring guide and a few wood screws. Haven't broke anything yet, it shoots more accurate than me with more power than listed. For me it was great because I knew I was getting a fixer upper but if I wasn't prepared and if they were defective like your examples I would be pissed as well. Of course if I could afford it would probably gone for a German gun in the first place. Good Luck with your future purchase and enjoy. Mr. Green

garththomas i went back to crosman as i have a 400 that needs new seals ive had it since i was 14 and im 57 . but boy was i fooled . the 400 had a easy real trigger . like i said cheep chinese junk . you can buy a diana 34 from PA for $219 and a titan from walmart is $149. after you buy a $32 trigger and do some stuff you have as much as a diana cost and you dont have to add a trigger to a diana . looks like crosman would wake up. german quality always is superior .look at a paul mauser . we had a hell of a time in wwII those germans had a real war horse of a gun in those mausers .

Never a cheap Chinese springer again! Not sure about their PCP's. But regardless I sold my Benji Trail NP due to same thing, 3 shots on top of one another then the 4th and 5th would fly like a bird!
