Here about the navy plane that crashed in Florida on an apartment complex due to mechanical failure? No one killed thank God--but there are no accidents in the U.S. Navy. I'm waiting for new of the inevitible court martial.

The F/A-18D crashed in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia Beach, Virginia, not Florida. I spent many years in the Navy and the Navy does have incidents that are classified as accidents. From the sound of this incident it sounds to me like this will be classified as an accident unless they find proof of pilot error or negligent maintenance.

That's right, I apologize, it was VA.
You'd know better than me about naval policy, I just have a bad impression. Mostly just making conversation.
Cheers,

No apology necessary Rob, I Thought I had missed a crash so I looked it up and thought I'd pass on what I found. Hope I didn't come on too strong.
