I bought a .22 cal pneuma from AOA for $299.00 USD and was expecting some problems but out of the box the gun seems fine.

Crosman Premiers chronied at 895 averaged over 20 shots from a 200 Bar fill. High was 919 and low was 856 (1st shot after fill). A 30 shot group is shown below at 38 yards.

The gun handles well for me. The trigger seems a little stiffer than I like and I hope to work on it some based on the information found here. The only other thing I don't like is the cocking lever and safety seem a little rough feeling. Like burrs or galling.

I had bought a QB78 PCP a few months ago and was unable to get the accuracy I wanted and spent a great deal of time tweaking which was fun. This gun shot much better right out of the box.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

So what's the distance from top to bottom shots? Hard to tell from the picture.....
Always nice to get what you pay for , huh?? I read some good reviews on that gun...was considering getting one not too long ago...ended up with AA S410..I think the Pnuma is same as the Hatsun airguns, made in Turkey IIRC....supposed to be a cut above average I believe Mr. Green

The trigger can be improved upon, as you well know, just take your time.

That group Measures about 1.5" from top to bottom.

I shot again today and was a little more picky about pellets. I noticed that some of the premiers were shaped like the crosman pointed pellets and many skirts bent so I looked at them a little closer.

Only had daylight for 20 shots. Here is the group.

Much better than the other day. The small circle at the top of the lower group was show 1,3,4.

I havent cleaned the barrel yet so may see how that does.

The pneuma is doing great. I have about 400 pellets through it. Taken it squirrel hunting and am 3 for 5 with lots of leaves and wind. Longest shot 35 yards. I have owned a .177 TX 200 and Falcon FN19 in the past and I had been let down with most everything else as far as accuracy goes. The pneuma seems to be getting close.

After walking around the woods today and missing one I shot a few off a rest to see where I was hitting.

Elevation was dead on and windage was about 1/2" to the right I adjusted the scope for windage and put 5 pellets through the same hole in a piece of tin. Then stacked two pellets on top of a screw in the sheetmetal (old animal shelter in the pasture). All at about 40 yards.

I love the loading of this compared to a bolt action. Thinking about getting one in .177.

I've had mine for about a year and a half. I've taken 6 or 7 jack rabbits from as far as 40 yards, plus I finally got a turkey last fall. I have never killed a turkey that dead before. Dropped like a rock. This is a great deal on this gun, it's down to $250 now. I am very happy with it.

Yeah the Pneuma's a great rifle. Some say it's a "beginners" gun, but IMO thats a crock of crap to help bigger manufacturers to push their own stock Razz

The trigger is pull length & weight adjustable, but be careful. Adjusting it to have too short a length & too light a weight will literally disengage the safety & give you a hair trigger. That could be potentially dangerous. It's not pellet fussy, and indexes shot after shot without a skip or jam reliably and IMO the lever action feels more natural than a side bolt, but thats just my opinion. I was thinking on an FX Revolution or Monsoon recently, just for the semi-auto aspect of it, but I've decided to wait & see if Hatsan will come out with a semi-auto & go for that if it'll be available in future.
