I had to... Just had to take some time for a fun project.
I still have to build the base and I can't find my walnut wood chunks since moving... so off to Woodcraft to see what they have while the barrel and other brass parts are in the tumbler.
Here's what I got done so far.
The ones I've seen online... you had to feed the fire cracker down the barrel and fish the fuse through the end... Oh hell, I don't have the patience to fish a fuse through this... and how will you clean out the crap left behind? GO REAR BREECH! Now I can preload the fire cracker on the bolt and lock it in and run a rod down it to clean it out!
I found a use for them pressed in bolts in the Crosman plastic breeches
Small hole for the fuse to pass through
3.25" of scrap 3/4" brass
1* taper
Plenty of charges since I live in a state that still allows Class C fireworks

Bravo Joe...you may want to make a bunch. I'm looking straight at Fort Niagara and they have a severe shortage of decent cannons over there
Whats a decent fort doing without cannons?
Happy Independence Day fellas |

I broke a Hunter's Safety rule... It will shoot a cigarette butt clear across the street into the neighbors yard from my front porch... he he he
This puppy has some kick... holding it firmly on the porch rail, it recoils back about 3/4" of an inch.
Score at SAVERS... I found a like new cutting board for $2.00 that is to become the material for the base... WoodCraft was closed for the holiday.
I'm tempted to spank the neighbors kids with it before I cut it up!
