Just wondering what the difference is in the 14.5 .22 cal, barrel for the 2289,and the 2250b.
Am I correct to assume the only difference, between the two is the barrel band set screw detent,on the top of the
2250b barrel,is lacking on the 2289 barrel? |

I didn't think there was any difference, but you could be right about the set-screw indent.... The barrel porting and chambering is identical....

| Thanks for the reply Bob.Someone got back to me on that, and yes the indent for the 8/32x1/8 set screw is the only difference, between the two barrels. The reason I ask is that I have a couple of projects going, and want to use what I have on hand for a 1322 build.I'll be using a Disco breech, and the metal barrel sleeve will extend out far enough to conceal that indent.Doesn't really matter,as it's just for looks. The barrel sleeve should help lock that barrel down pretty good...probably overkill.... |
