I finally decided to put up a pic of my pride-and-joy.
At 28 fpe, it's a reliable, powerful, sledgehammer.
It has seen many-a-hunt, and it literally blows rabbits off their feet.
Has also taken out an entire side window of a car .... at 20 odd metres Oh, that was one shot But don't worry, it was a wreck.
I'm yet to find a more powerful springer. 901 fps average, with 15.43gn pellets.

Longest range-finder kill - 127 metres. |

What caliber is it? I'm figuring at least a .22. Maybe a .25? |

Yeah mate, .22 I didn't make that clear sorry.
Most likely I assumed people would look down at my signaure, where it says .22.
I just finished making it look absolutely beautiful by going over the wood work, and external metal work with boiled linseed oil. Nice gloss shine, and the blueing looks like a lake on a still winters morning. Also brings out the gold stamped 'WEBLEY PATRIOT' 'POWR-LOK INSIDE TM' writing |

I didn't even think to look there. My blind butt just wasn't paying attention. |

Always wanted one of those or a Walther Talon Mag. Nice looking gun, what pellets did you say you used in that thing? |

Thanks! looks unreal now after it's linseed oil treatment. My ( soon to be ) brother-in-law has a Walther Falcon Hunter in .22, exact same rifle as the Talon, but in a different stock. It is awesome. But my Patriot is more powerful (just), built more solid, and in my opinion, easier to shoot.
I use Gamo ProMagnum pellets ; 15.43gn @ 901 fps average - chrono'd results.
It's bone standard, untuned, and I was not expecting to achieve anything over 810-820 fps with 15.43's.
Maybe this is a gem ??? Well, it is, but I'm certain from reading countless net articles/reviews that 28 fpe is in the "one in a million" range for the .22 Patriot.
I'm happy. And that's all that counts.....
The rabbits, hare, and possum populations aren't
