today i got a diana 54 and want a scope for it . i used to have a winchester[hatsan] 1100xsu and somehow it had 3 scopes in the box . the winchester wasnt good so i returned it and the clerk told me keep the 2 other scopes so i did and 1 is on my benji titan great scope on the titan ,but was wondering if the d 54 will destroy the scope that was to be on the winchester? it is magnum also and seems like it should work ok but i dont want to ruin it as it would be good on my 34's . if everybody thinks its ok i will use it on the 54. and all i can say about the 54 is ...WOW
the dealer let me shoot it before i bought it . i was pleasntly surprized at the first shot smooth as silk great trigger like breaking glass real crisp |

The 54 was always going to be the winner on the day.
To answer your question, We'd need to know what the scopes are ?
However if the one you want to put on your 54 is an air-rifle rated scope,It will be all good. |

Just a guess here, but I have a Daisy Powerline scope that came on a virtually recoiless Daisy 22SG multi-pump pneumatic combo deal (the scope was the best part if the deal) and since scrapping the leaky 22SG, I put that Powerline scope on a moderately high-recoiling springer and have had 1000s of shots with it so far without any problems.
And this rifle was harsh enough that the scope mount set-screw skidded and plowed a groove on top of the receiver until I replaced it with a screw-in pin that fits into a hole.
If it were me, I'd go ahead and try it. I suspect every scope Daisy sells is springer rated. |
