My latest personal project...
For my 1077W... I wanted to Bulk it and keep clean lines... So a bulk tank or Air Source is out of the question...
Now there is some damage to the stock... It got stepped on by UPS... Go figure... So I am in the process of repairing and refinishing...
As my fellow 1077 fans know... You just can't put a fill on the end of the tube a pressurize it... Due to the access hole to change out the Co2 powerlet seal.
So I put my thinking cap on and came up with this little gizmo... 0.75” O.D. x 1.75" bar aluminum turned down just a smidge… grooved for o-rings to seal up the gas tube and a tip to mate with the powerlet seal…
Sorry for the cruddy photos... camera phones and the fluorescent lighting in the shop do not play well with each other...
Well you also need a spacer to press it to the powerlet seal. A simple section of .75” aluminum tubing cut to the right length will do…
Then add one of Ron's/B&A’s 2250 extension tube BF adapter, a QD set and vola! A bulk fill 1077… The cool thing about B&A's Fill... is it has the check valve built in so you don't need a one way foster fitting.
The tube is now sealed and ready to fill.
Most of the remotes for a paint ball gun have the QD’s on them now and I still have to order mine…
Edit....
I do plan on making a second barrel band for the extension.
I made a guage adapter to go in the main gas tube much like the Disco... I still have to modify the stock and install it... Photos later... |

Hey Salvia,
This is the used one I picked up.
It will be awhile before she is ready for cans...
I am going to re-blue the barrel and add a black anodized hand guard to round out the carbine look.
It's time for a total tune. With the bulk fill system... it can be an air hog...
Those Midway videos you posted have inspired me to give the stock a nicer shape and I have some dark walnut to do the tip and extend the butt stock 1.5" for the proper pull. I may even attempt to inlay a Monte Carlo style cheek rest. I have not decided if I am going to do some checkering. We will see when the time comes.
It has been awhile since I had my hands in wood. I used to get lost in it some time back...
This is my official Winter Project. No rush on this one... |

The gun's similarity to the M1 carbine is obvious. Now that you have the extended tube, how about going for a M1 Garand/M14 look?

This one is considered the Wife's AG...
Very do-able. She wants open sights... I am thinking that if I do a reverse dove tail at a 90* in the exisitng dove tail on the reciver... I could do a nice setup like the Williams Peep sights on the back and make a hooded front sight on the brake.
I have the 3/8" dovetail cutting tool for my drill press/mill.
I am going to also do a 24" custom heavy .177 barrel. |

Well my Quick Disconnect finely arrived. So now I was able to fill'er up.
First I put a synthetic stock on it while I do the re-finish so I could play. I have gone through a whole 250 tin with no noticeable drop. It started raining and getting cold again... so I put it away till it dries out... Also to determine if I have any leaks.
BTW... nice consistant groups and a bunch of dead cans out back...  |
