| well i am new to the forum. so quickly, i have been shooting since 5 and that was over 30yrs ago. i never had any air-gun that cost over $30 and all of them grouped less than 1" at 25yds. used an old ben. pump for a while and grouped 1" out to 40yds. bought a ben. titan last month and after 500 shots, good cleanning, different pellets, the best i get is 3in groups at only 25yds. at this same distance my sons $26 BB gun groups less than 1in. any advice is greatly appreciated! i |

| artillery hold- aka don't hold a springer like a rifle it wont group worth of crap , you have to hold it extremely loose and let the gun do its thing. |

My Titan is picky about how I hold it. The lightest grip possible while still controlling the gun is what you want.
Check for play at the barrel pivot, both side-to-side and up-down. Dab a cotton swab at the muzzle crown to see if a burr snags one of the fibers. Make sure all your mounting screws are tight (stock and scope). Try different pellets - many guns have a strong preference.
I have several springers, but mostly lower-powered. I really had to concentrate on technique with the Titan. |
