are they safe? i got 1 today and got home n discovered it has plastic buckles. i never had much faith in plastic under a load. might use it on 1 of my less liked guns to see how it holds up .it would be real bad if a diana or wilrauch hit the dirt from a plastic buckle. i always like a sling on any rifle i have

For what it's made for I think the gun buddy is brilliant. A way to put a ready sling on the difficult to sling plastic stocked springer.

I have one and I've kicked the crap out of it toting a phantom that has the cavity filled with lead shot. It's 10.5 pds....so far so good Mr. Green

Probably the most reasonable least hyped thing Gamo has ever made

Shhhhh....don't tell the kiwi I said that Mr. Green

I wouldn't worry about Fastex buckles. There was lots of them on my combat gear and I never had or saw one fail

Ya the Stoeger's are expensive because they are actually premium line H&N's

I've had a Gamo Gun Buddy on my Falcon for a while. I put it on back when they first came out and I haven't had any problem with it.

That's it in the back.

Busted, SMP!!! (just kidding) I myself know there are alot of people out there who aren't really Gamo fans Smile But it's all good. Mr. Green I had one of those slings on my now sold Silver Shadow. And I agree with the above comment, very stong and did the job well. Recommended
