| I just bought a Beeman R9 .22. The question I have is about the barrel. Well not sure what its called but all the way up the barrel where the round chamber sticks out of the top of the wood stock. Well the question is should this move? I can grab the barrel and pull and push (not hard) and the entire barrel/chamber piece moves a full 1/8 of an inch. I'm thinking of sending it back this isn't a cheap gun and at 450 bucks i think this should be tight not sloppy like it is now. I would expect that from a 50 dollar gun not a 450 dollar gun. |

Tighten the screws that go through the front of the compression
tube through the barrel block. They will also loosen
over time with normal use. Also check all other screws
stock/trigger.
It is common for spring guns to come new with loose screws. |

| Thanks sniper. Yeah they were really loose! surprised the thing didn't fall apart. i didn't even check the bolts i just figured there was no way they were loose since i had only had the gun for a couple days. its nice and tight now. |

| Blue Loctite is a wonder. It keeps things from vibrating loose, yet permits disassembly. Happy to see that you got the R9 sorted out. |

| I like to use teflon tape on those screws. It functions well as the vibration reducer and permits tightening if need be with removal having minimal problems. |
