For anybody interested Webley are producing a limited edition of the tempest in 1.77 and .22. This is to commemorate 100 years from the first Webley air gun. About $330.00 plus p&p.

What is the velocity in both calibers?.... If over 500 fps, there is no way to get one into Canada.... Crying or Very sad

There both just under 6fp Bob (.177 & .22), So I would say they are just on the limit or maybe just a fraction over, as the actual limit used in the UK will be around 5.5 to 5.75fp to give a margin for error.

Using average weight pellets, and our handy-dandy energy calculator:

The .22 caliber should be around 430fps and be good for Canada.

The .177 will not work for Canada, however.

The actual Fp will be 5.5 to 5.75 to keep it under the uk 6fp limit.

Great shooters, they are. Just a bit much as you can buy a used one for around $150 here.

Wait, that's a Peso sign! :O
