I'm embaressed to say, I've allowed surface rust to attack both my 2300kt custom and my discovery. Before I moved in my fiance, I never had to deal with the issue. I just kept them in cases. But where I'm living now, for some reason I'm having moisture issued. I should have known to get a couple of those packets that absorbe moisture in the cases with them...but, well that's how hindsight goes....
So now what do I do??? I've wiped down the 2300 with some gun oil. It looks a bit better, but I can still see some pitting on the metal. I don't wanna ruin it by using anything abrasive. What can I do?

"NevrDull" magic wool will lift the rust off easily and gently. But it sounds like you'll need to reblue for a permanent fix.
