Hi
Although I have already posted these images in the "Rifles" section of the forum, I'd thought i would post them up here as well just to make use of the "Picture Gallery" section. Anyway here they are.
They're 8.1 megapixels so feel free to view the full size images .
Took these about a week ago.
I used the green background for maximum contrast on the rifle.
Sorry about the chair, Its the only thing I could find to stand it on.
The Scope is a simmons 4x32 8 point, Very nice to use on this rifle, Looks good as well.
Hope these pic are informative to anyone who is thinking of buying or want to see the Crosman 1077 in more detail.
Stevie
PS, There is also a full review written by me on the Crosman 1077W in the "Rifles" section of the forum. |

Is that a rubber, or plastic butt-plate on the 1077W? |

It's definatly plastic but with a corrugated texture to it, The brown glaze on the butt-plate is part of the finnish that crosman left on there, I did try to get it off but it's not happening too soon.

I'm probably going to buy a camouflaged Umarex 850. It'll own big time. |

Hi All!!
I thought I might post some newer images of my Crosman 1077W:
It's starting to look like a real Sniper Rifle now!! Probably a Parker Hale M85.
I bought the Bipod just yesterday, It convinced me to take these Pics.

So, those RamLine clip-on bipods are sold in the UK as well! If you don't mind me asking- what does one typically cost there?
Also- the muzzle- it looks to be a brake on there- but maybe a very small suppressor? Who did the threading of the barrel to fit it on, and whose unit is it- looks like it fits quite well. |

Morning AirGunEric!!
OK, The "RamLine" clip-on bi-pod cost me £10.99 over here in the UK, And comes in an unmarked white box.
If you ask me, I feel it's quite overpriced for what your actually getting, The bi-pod mainly consists of two very strong plastic legs held together by a large loose fitting rivet, It's spring loaded, Though I did add some foam around the clamp to stop it from scratching and sliding up/down the barrel.
As for the muzzle, Yes your right, It is indeed a real suppressor, Not quite a small one, Very affective though, It's quieter than an angels fart and will confuse most rats as they have no idea where the pellets are coming form, They'll just freeze like statues.
But I guess the pics make it look smaller than it actually is, Also the barrel shroud doesn't help with the proportions.
Also, The suppressor is not threaded, It is simply a clamp-on one that requires two spanners and a piece of cloth to attach it (Cloth being to stop the spanners damaging the finish).
Whoops I forgot to mention:
It's a Parker Hale Universal suppressor in .22cal (£32.99), It's very difficult to find a .177cal specific suppressor, That will fit a 16mm OD barrel shroud, So this was my only option.
The fit is very very snug and it does take a bit of work to get it on for the first time, But after it has been tightened up it will fit like a glove the second time round.

Aha- got it.
Those RamLine bipods sell for about $10 in the US, but about $20 in Canada- so Canadians get ripped off on them too! |

I've made up my mind about the 1077. I will ask a dutch tuner how much it will cost if he makes the gun into a true high quality rifle, with everything you can do about it on it, like replacing all the plastic parts, etc. With a little luck I'll post the reaction here, and maybe I'll decide to buy one.
Waiting for tuning the Slavia is taking to long right now, so I gotta have something to do. |

Hey Broom!
Nice to know your still interested in the 1077.
I'm sure you will have a field day replacing all the plastic parts in the main mech housing!!!

Replace all the plastics with steel- now that's gonna to be some work. The trigger and safety is probably not too big an issue- but the valve end and the receiver blocks/sides are plastic too! You never know- maybe there's money to be made if someone can produce metal sides for the action cheaply enough. |

Very nice gun Stevie, the scope and silencer look well on it but I'm not to sure about the Bi-Pod. I also like the targets on the shelf.

Hey Al
Well the bi-pod serves a purpose I guess, Beats scratching the rifle though!!
As for the "targets" on the shelf:
I'm not sure if your referring to my bomber plane collection or the small brass collection, Definitely not targets though!!
That a very expensive collection there (The bombers I mean).
As for the brass, I'm still working on that collection, Nothing but spent shotgun shells around here, Though spend shotgun shell make for very good "Mini Sniping" targets!!

Hi stevie, I was only joking about the bombers, they do look nice and expensive. As for the cartridge case's all we get over here is 30mm cannon shells, they drop off the Tornado's, when they are on the local range. |
