pyramid air has some reviews under each airgun, I believe airguns of az might also.

I'm sure a few will chime in with some important questions, like how powerfull. Pellet size desired, and What you want to do, IE target? Tree rats, neighbors cats(chinesse food) Juz kiddin.....

And Welcome.

What exactly do you mean by High Powered. 1000FPS? If so, you may want to steer towards a Break Barrel. Although now "Multi-Shot", they still shoot pretty well. If you are interested, take a look at the Crosman Phantom.

Well, depending how powerful you want is a big factor on what you can get. Multishots are available for under 150, but they aren't very powerful. The crosman 1077 comes to mind, but it's not really a hunting gun due to it's lack of power.

There are others like the crosman series like the storm, phantom and quest that are right around the 150 mark, but they are single shot breakbarrels. If you want multi shot, you will have to go PCP which is VERY expensive and a pain to mess with in my book, but they will do about anything with very few drawbacks. What exactly do you want it for? That will be a big help in helping to decide what you want.

What are you wanting to hunt? I have neighbors nearby too and I kill birds and squirrels with my cheap($40) Daisy 880S out to 35yds. Just slap a 4x32 scope on it(usually around $25) and that's really all you need unless you're killing larger animals.

You could get a springer rifle like my Air Hawk for around $125 for larger kills in the same range but they are louder where it could concern the neighbors. They take up to 400 shots to break in for accuracy, they can wear your arm out when cocking them many times, and are hard to shoot accurately until you have mastered the artillery hold.

Out of both I actually prefer my cheap Daisy since it kills what I hunt, is quiet, and is much easier to cock and shoot. Whichever rifle you decide to get just make sure and get quality pellets. I didn't have luck with Daisy hollow points and Crosman destroyers so I got RWS Superdomes which a lot of people here recommend and my accuracy improved greatly.

You cant really find a Too quite springer at 1000FPS, but you should take a look at the Crosman Phantom.

If you want to go a little bit lower in velocity, you can get the 1077. It is a Multi-Shot plinker that think you will be impressed in.
