| I've had a 2250B for about 5 years now and never ever removed a cartridge for storage out in my garage in Arizona. Well now that the CO2 leaks out overnight I find that I should have been lubricating the cartridges before inserting. You would be correct if you guessed that I'm not much at reading manuals. Love the way the gun shoots but must fix it. Took it apart last night and the cartridge seal looks OK but obviously isn't. Is that the only place for leakage to occur and if it is where do I get replacement seals. |

The seal that sits on the valve seat inside the valve could be your problem if the Co2 seal is ok. You can get a new seal from most Crosman dealers.
Also Welcome to AirGunHome.

Is the CO2 coming out the barrel when the bolt is closed (no pellet)?.... If that is the case, then the valve stem is not seating properly.... Likely some dirt.... Pull the valve apart, clean it, and reassemble....

| x1 both bob and al. After five years though I would consider just going ahead and replacing all of them. I do mine every time any of the seals go bad. |

Thanks for the information Al, Bob, and Oddtodd. Now that generates two questions. First I've been having trouble finding a Crosman vendor in the US. Would you please give me a suggestion. I've found loads of custom vendors but I'm just in need of stock parts right now - but probably not for long. Secondly, am I correct in assuming that the valve simply unscrews?
Thanks again gentlemen,
Steve |

| You should be able to get them directly from crosman. Go to crosman. com and look up their info. I can't remember the info, but it's in East Bloomfield NY as far as I can recollect. They should have all the info you need on their website. |

| And I forgot to mention, yes the leak can now be detected by the sound coming from the muzzle and breach when open. It didn't used to be that way - before I took it apart and reassembled it last evening. It used to not make any sound, just leak off overnight. |

| Either I'm dense or I've been sitting at the computer too long. I've been to the Crosman website and went again but when I enter a P/N it doesn't recognize it. I'm perplexed! |

| Your best bet is to call them tomorrow. I can never get anything accomplished by computer with them either. |

Parts are not listed on the Crosman website- you must call customer service and they will sell/ship you the parts if you are located in the U.S.
If you are outside the U.S. you need to find a regional parts dealer (there are a couple in Europe, a couple in Canada and I believe one in Mexico). |
