I’ve been looking for something to make out of a 2240, and so far I come up with an auto loader which is operated by a pump action system, the heart of the gun would be an auto loader similar to my 2240 pistol, no bolt or loading port just a five shot magazine.
Any comments or different idea’s appreciated.

Cool idea.... The Hatsam AT44 pump is difficult to cycle because it is directly linked to the hammer for cocking.... It needs to have a system to increase the travel and reduce the effort, IMO.... Something to think about when you are designing it....

Good idea Bob, I will couple the pump to the bolt on each side of the breech, which wiil give me 1" of movement and I would like at least 2", so I'll have to give it a bit of though, also I need to find some way of locking the bolt as well.
One thing I was going to ask you was what type of tube I need for the valve & Co2 bits, I intend to run it from the extended Co2 loading port to the butt, and put the controls for the power adjuster there, Do I need High pressure tube or just a good quality one?

If the powerlet is going to seal to the valve as in a 2240 the tube isn't pressurized so it doesn't matter.... If you are going to pressurize the tube you will need to use a valve like a Disco, sealed into the tube by O-rings and located with extra mounting screws.... In that case I would use steel DOM tubing 0.875" OD x 0.065" wall (as per the Disco)....

| Hmmm, shotgun style stock? But I guess you are gonna base it on a 2240 so maybe something else. You could make it tactical, I'm sure it would look bad a$$ with one of those AR15 stocks. |
