The Summers here and so are all of the Sparrows that come around. We have already found broken Bird eggs (looked to be pecked open) in a nest. 
Anyway, I'm planning on getting them with a Crosman Recruit. What should i use for bait? |

| Sparrows are seed eaters(also eat insects) they do not eat bird eggs. |

I don't think that sparrows are the culprit for broken eggs.
Crows Jays magpies or house wrens even chipmunks are more likely suspects. It's possible your mistaking a wren for a sparrow |

| Starlings, grackles, hell I don't care what time of year it is if a crow gives me a decent shot on my own property. No good flying thugs, all of em. Oddly enough, redwing blackbirds are protected here in Wisconsin |

| here in Elgin Illinois, robins and geese are protected. and guess what i have an abundance of? you guessed it. but i do have allot of starlings too and crows from time to time.so i just shoot into my pellet catcher until one accidentally lands into my yard. |

| Starlings are bad in my neighborhood. My neighbors even buy me pellets and CO2 to keep them under control! I have a lot of old people in my neighborhood who feed birds and squirrels and such. Makes it a gold mine for me. I have enough pellets and CO2 to see me through the next 2 years. I just told people I would let them know when I would need more. I am getting a good workout with my Titan too. So far so good with the gas ram! |
