I am getting rid of all my pellet guns...
List includes:
1. competition air pistol Baikal IZH 46M. Great condition $300 obo
2. Beeman Tempest. Great condition $200 obo
3. Sharidan 20 cal pump. Good condition obo
4. RWS Daina 34 22 cal Good condition obo
5. RWS Daina 48-52 177 cal Good condition obo
6. BSA 177 cal Good condition obo
7. Daisy No. 25 plymouth mi Good condition obo
There is nothing wrong with these pellet guns... As a Marine Marksman I tend to play, tweak, and takecare of my toys...

I dont understand how this forums permits someone to sell stuff on their first post.
There should be a minimum posts made before selling any items. Most forums that I visit have a minimum of 40 posts and an account that should be 6 months old etc.
To buy from someone whos first post is selling is asking to get burned...

I am unclear how this is rationalized- do you have some proof of something we are unaware of in this case?
The "option" of doing something as you suggest such as a minimum number of posts before allowing for sale items to be posted sounds all wonderful- except that people cleaning out their closets are unlikely to be joining forums and posting multiple times (or many dozen as you have indicated) to sell off a few pellet guns. There is a balance to be found by each/every buyer as to how they wish to do business- no one has stated that you or anyone else must purchase a product listed- and we will not fall victim to the all-too-common, generally "security over all else" panic.
Buyers may want to apply an appropriate amount of due diligence before any puchase, such as:
If you can't pick the product up face-to-face, don't buy it.
If the seller cannot prove they have said product in their possession- perhaps by taking a picture with the days newspaper alongside it- don't buy.
etc. etc. etc.
However, unfounded "bannings" and such are not called for. |

FWIW..... We see the samething ALL the Time on one of My Fav. MC sites.
But I definitely understand where AG-Eric is coming from too.
