I usually shoot at close to medium ranges, and here are some of the scopes I used in the past:
Bushnell .22 4 x 32, pretty good quality and sturdy. It held out on my first guns pretty well. I don't own it anymore, it left with my Slavia 630. I still have the rings! They suck.
Gamo 2.5 x 20, nice bright and short range scope. This is not the long eye relief version for pistols but the rifle version. I also really like the look of a scope like this. Basically a bit like a red dot, except for the lack of a battery and a reticle in stead of a dot. I adore it. I won't ever sell it. :P
BSA 4 x 32 AO (rubbercoated), I had this on my HW90, which was a beast. I still regret selling it. AO was the icing on the cake with this one.
Usually I don't keep shooting at night, but I have to admit that at dusk, these scopes aren't all that great.
But who cares, because they're in the affordable price range here. |
