I have several tins of pellets that have been sitting in the basement for years. Some of them show signs of oxidation or corrosion. Any suggestions for cleaning these for use . Will using "dirty"pellets cause problems?

You could try washing and lubing them to get (some?) of the crap off. Leaving residue in your barrel isn't much to worry about- but if they have too much crud they may foul up the barrel grooves and/or cause too much drag.

If you do a search on "Lube pellets" there are a couple topics around here somewhere where people have given their methods for cleaning and such.
