| I have had this rifle only a year, and maybe fired it 15 times. I went to use it this year and it leaks something terrible. The CO2s do not leak in the frame carrier or when you pierce them in the carrier, but when inserted into the gun butt and locked in place, you can here the hissing at the front of the rear stock where it joins the receiver. It is now not in warranty, so I would like to find a diagram of the inner workings and how to take it apart to replace what ever is causing it to leak. Anyone know where on line I can get a diagram of the Walther 1894 CO2 rifle. This is the one that holds two CO2 carts. |

The leak is possibly from the tube connector to the Co2 valve , it just pushes in and is sealed with an O ring, the only other place it can leak is the valve seal it’s self, unless the tube has split but I doubt this has happened.
I don’t think there is a diagram for this gun, I took mine to pieces and photographed each stage as I went on, so that I would know how to put it back.
PS: Please don’t use Bold type for your posts.
PPS: just a thought the part on the Co2 holder that plugs into the butt, check to see if the red O ring inside it is OK, it is very small so you might need a magnifying glass to see it?
BTW welcome to AirGunHome

| Thanks Al, I will look at all that. Any idea on how this gun comes apart? |

Use an Allen key in the end of the barrel to remove the muzzle, then you can slide off the two tubes and unscrew the barrel.
Remove the Co2 unit and using a box spanner undo the nut holding the Co2 tube to the butt, then remove the large screw behind the hammer, the butt should come off then.
All you should have left is the receiver there are one or two screws to remove and it should split in two, do this in a plastic bag to catch any springs that may shoot off.
This may be a bit vague as it is 3 years since I striped it down but it is fairly straight forward.
Don’t forget to re-lube be for re-assembling.
Al

Wow the idea of springs flying out even in a bag is scary to me. I removed the CO2 frame and didn't see any red O ring on the end which is female. Looking in the butt there is a brass metal tube that slides into the female part. Maybe the red O ring is on that tube and I didn't see it?
Thanks for the pics Al. |
