I recently bought a Gamo Big Cat for shooting starlings and sparrows on my property. It seems to be a fairly accurate rifle, but the scope is crap (imo). I have a small pellet rifle with a cheapo 4 power fixed scope which has a 3/4" tube and I love the scope. I'm just afraid that the Gamo has a little too much recoil and will damage the small scope. Does any manufacturer (of air rifle scopes) make a good quality fixed 4 power scope with a 3/4" tube that you guys know of?

A 3/4" tube may not be so easy to find- seems to be only the sort of thing found in "kits" where the scope is an afterthought. If you go to a 1" tube your choices would expand quite a bit.

And just be sure what ever scope you get, it is rated for a dual-recoil delivered form a springer.
