Dear Mr. Mouse,

Thank you for writing the Airgun Help Forum. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

After carefully examining the photo you included with your letter, we are excited to let you know that we found your guts.

THEY ARE COMING OUT YOUR BACK!

We would advise that you seek medical attention as soon as possible. An injury like that can be fatal if not treated properly.

Cordially,

Airgun Help Forum

They're like 12.6 grain and fly in the low 700's.
In cans or rats they tear nasty holes.

Huge difference over domed.

Interesting...I didn't realize the SB's were that light.Makes sense though as they probably deform better than say the much heavier Crowmag relative to velocity of course...I like that idea.Sounds like it would be a good choice for my 2300KT rat combo, which spits @ roughly 500fps with 14.3's..I want to avoid excess velocity after the pellet exits an unlucky fur ball...I actually like wad cutters for close range work, but may have to give the SB's a try.

The hollowpoint cavity is recessed x2. and soft.

It's a double hollowpoint. Expensive but I'm
on year 2 with the frist tin. SPLAT!.

Okay I see...the deeper cup accounts for the weight savings.Initially I was thinking that the light weight may have been due to perhaps,a thinner skirt, shorter length,or whatnot.Sounds like a wicked pellet though...I must try them.... Twisted Evil

You got it backwards. 2 shallow cavities. one in another.
thins skirt, SPLAT.

crowmags are heavy with a .45acp deep cavity.

SB's are likely useless above 750fps.

kinda like 165 grain .45. short, light and hollow.
