Doesn't look good enough. For that money, I'd buy a couple of Corsairs or something.
I don't care if it has a magazine, is 9mm and has a fancy counter on the side.
If they come up with a good looking wooden stock version (with some darn nice wood too!) then maybe I'd call it worthy. |

| I personally wouldn't give that much for TWO of them..BUT at least now guys out there know how much it is....Six months from now it will be considerably less IMHO..I don't foresee it being a big seller..but... who knows??? |

Well I certainly like the concept. Highly controlled energy output geared towards hunting a variety of small to medium game.
It is a little tech looking but to be honest thats the look that has been selling so thats where marketers are going to focus their direction. If everyone turned their noses up at tactical this, SWAT that and combat everything else then we wouldn't be looking at a polycarbonate Rogue.
I think that the price is obviously a little high but I agree that it should come down fast. Even faster if someone else releases an E valve.
Where I think they fell short is in caliber. I would be even more interested if they had made it in say a .40 or a .44 . That would open up a whitetail and anything similar or smaller for a well placed shot. |

There are other rifles with electronic valves- Daystate. However, their models with an electronic valve are even higher priced- $2000+
But, this could be the initiating point for electronic valves to start catching on- Daystate starting using them 3-4 years ago, now Crosman, some paintball markers and some airsoft guns have had them for years- so its only a matter of time, really.
That being said, I'm not so sure I like the idea of a battery-powered, tank-filled rifle- talk about needing a parts cart to go out in the field... maybe this is why I always grab a springer first, anything/everything else after that. |
